Coming Soon: Medicaid Assistance

Neurodivergent people are some of the members of our community that need Medicaid the most, and they are also some of the most at risk for losing their coverage under the new requirements.

Not every person with a disability has a disability waiver because getting that waiver can be a complex, labyrinthine process that often requires professional legal assistance. You also need the assistance of doctors and other supportive professionals in order to verify your qualification, something that can be even more difficult if you already do not have insurance.

Application Assistance

We will sit with our clients and provide support through the process of applying for Medicaid.

2

Volunteer Coordination

We will connect our clients to volunteer opportunities in the community, and we will transport them to those opportunities to ensure that they meet their work requirements to stay on Medicaid.

3

Ongoing Paperwork Assistance

We will provide support to our clients in navigating the complex bureaucracy of the continuing paperwork required due to work requirements. This will involve keeping track of volunteer and work hours and assisting them with reporting those hours accurately to the state.
